Radio Hatteras, your all-volunteer community radio connection, is a non-profit, non-commercial station broadcasting on WHDX-FM 99.9, Waves, NC and WHDZ-FM, Buxton, NC on Hatteras Island.
We play an eclectic music mix spanning decades and genres.
We also air special music shows (locally produced and hosted) plus island-specific programming, which enhances the safety and quality of life of Hatteras Island residents, visitors, and property owners.
Radio Hatteras and its facilities are locally owned, governed, operated, and supported for the benefit of the audience served.
Radio Hatteras is a non-commercial, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
